gym80 International captures the body LIFE
Award
The body LIFE Award goes to
gym80 International: Operators of 500 fitness studios chose
Germany's leading producer of fitness, wellness, and medical rehab
equipment as the top-performing power training brand in 2006.
In a poll taken by the market research institute Cobus, gym80
International came out miles ahead of the competition. The fitness
studio operators voted in these categories: brand recognition,
customer satisfaction, price-performance ratio, brand identity,
service, instruction and support line. The tally shows it – in the
market for power sport equipment, gym80 International has the best
arguments.
The body LIFE Award was presented at a ceremony held in November at
the Casino in Baden Baden. Ever since it was established six years
ago by the publishers of body LIFE magazine, this award has been one
of the most coveted trophies that is given in the fitness branch.
gym80 International Managing Director Aat van Winkelhof comments,
"This prize is wonderful recognition for all of us, and at the same
time it is a challenge. Considering that we took second place last
year, it must be obvious to everyone that gym80 International
consistently offers top-level quality."

gym80 International earns a Fitness Tribune
Equipment Award 2006
Honors for gym80 International: The
Fitness Tribune award for best Seated Leg Curl in 2006 goes to the
training equipment company based in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
In equipment testing at the Dr. Gottlob Institute in November, the
Seated Leg Curl in gym80's newest SYGNUM range received a top
ranking "very good" and took first place. The jury was unanimous in
its appraisal: this gym80 International model dominates the test
category Ergonomics and Comfort.
Especially with its ROM (range of motion) and the wide span of thigh
strap adjustment, the gym80 International leg curl machine came out
lengths ahead of all its competitors. None of the others provide
belting that can be adjusted so precisely to the legs, whatever
size. The padding also pulls toward the middle of the body when
tightened, doing away with uncomfortable pressure on the knees.
"That is ideal", as the experts found.
This round of testing included the leg machines of six equipment
manufacturers located in Europe and the USA. The other gym80
International leg training machines – leg extension, seated leg
press, and the prone leg curl – all landed in top notch positions,
ranking "good" overall. |
