gym80 International is getting the
sailing crew of the United Internet Team Germany physically fit for
the America’s Cup 2007.
Nine months prior to the regatta off the coast of Valencia for the
oldest and most distinguished sports trophy in the world, Germany's
leading manufacturer of fitness, wellness and rehabilitation
machines has taken over complete refurbishment of the crew’s
training room. The crew members can train on 20 machines over the
following months and build up the necessary strength for the great
task ahead. The famous competition will take place in Europe for the
first time in the 156 year history of the America’s Cup. And
likewise for the first time a German yacht is setting itself the
ultimate challenge. First of all the opponent of the title holder
Alinghi (Switzerland) will be determined over several qualifying
races. Then the final will start on 23rd June 2007
